Meadow Gold Dairies would like to acknowledge moms all across Hawaii by giving families a chance to nominate their moms for the title of “Meadow Gold Dairies’ Chief Health Officer.” All they need to do to nominate their moms is to write a 100-word essay explaining why their mom should be considered for Meadow Gold’s “Chief Health Officer.” Entries can be submitted online at www.lanimoo.com from Sunday, May 11 (Mother’s Day), through Monday, June 30. Mail-in entry forms and full contest rules can also be found on the Web site. “We want to recognize the hard work and vital role that moms play in keeping their families healthy,” said Joni Marcello, assistant sales manager of Meadow Gold Dairies. “We also want to reinforce our efforts to inform families about milk’s health benefits as well as the importance of serving milk more often.” Meadow Gold’s “Chief Health Officer” will be selected by a panel of health professionals and will be awarded prizes totaling nearly $5,000 in value. These include a brand new GE side-by-side refrigerator, a one-year supply of milk, a new wardrobe from Macy’s and much more.
