Calling all keiki, tweens, and teens! Get your bodies moo-ving at the 3rd Annual Meadow Gold Kids Triathlon. This year we’ve partnered with Kalihi Education Coalition so please join us for a fun-filled day of activities to celebrate your health, vitality, and life! Jump start your day on the right foot with the Kids Triathlon for kids ages 7 to 14. Swim, bike, and run your way to great health!

Awards: All finishers will receive a Finishers T-shirt, a competitors medal, and a goodie bag filled with great prizes!
Rules: A one-day USAT License is required for each entrant. The license fee is included in the entry fee and participants will be required to sign up at Race Packet Pick-Up.
Swim: Swim caps are required (will be issued in the Race Packet). Goggles are recommended. No snorkel or fins are permitted.
Bike: Only two-wheel bikes are allowed. All participants must wear a bike helmet. Bike handle-bar plugs are required.
Run: Athletic shoes are required.

Registration: Register online now until Monday, April 6, 2009 12 midnight OR until 350 entries are received—whichever comes first. Only the first 350 entries will be accepted. If you register after April 6, a $15 fee will be added (total cost $30). No registrations will be accepted after April 20.
Entry Fee: $15 for each participant.
A late registration fee of an additional $15 will apply for each participant that registers after the registration deadline.
Entry Deadline: Registration deadline is Monday, April 6, 2009 at midnight. Late registration will be accepted online until April 20, 2009 (late registration fee will apply). Entries received after April 20, 2009 12 midnight will not be accepted. There will be no onsite registration or walk-in registration.
Race Packet: Race Packet Pick-Up for confirmed entrants will be on Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at McCully Bicycle and Sporting Goods (2124 South King St., 955-6329). Please bring your confirmation form. Parent or legal guardian must be present to sign liability waivers and USAT License forms. If these forms are not completed before race day, your child will not be eligible to race—no exceptions. If your child already has a USAT license, please bring their USAT card or proof of license to Race Packet Pick-Up.
FREE First Timer’s Clinic: Triathlon First Timer’s Clinics will be offered to confirmed participants on the same day/location of Race Packet Pick-Up. The clinics are intended to familiarize first-time participants with the triathlon process (i.e. transition area, rules). We will be offering these FREE clinics at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. The clinics are approximately 15 to 20 minutes s and will be taught by skilled triathletes and instructors from Team Core Hawaii.
Race Day: Registration Table and the Transition Area opens at 4:30 a.m. All participants must register and pick up timing chips by 6:00 a.m.
Parking: Parking will be available at Magic Island and Ala Moana Beach Park.
