Milk and dairy products can play a healthy part in every meal.

Here's how you can incorporate Meadow Gold dairy products into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks every day of the week.

Breakfast Lunch Snack Dinner
Sunday Add a glass of milk or Meadow Gold juice to a meal of eggs or bagels to round out a healthy breakfast. Make soups with milk instead of water for a creamier taste plus extra calcium and protein. Make a fruit smoothie with fruit and yogurt and/or milk. Substitute plain yogurt or low-fat sour cream for heavy cream in sauces.
Monday Cereal with milk and fresh fruit. Add a side of cottage cheese to your fruit, salad or sandwich. Yogurt makes a great anytime snack. Whip up some sugar-free instant pudding with skim milk for a low-calorie, low-fat dessert.
Tuesday Cottage cheese with fresh fruit. Make yogurt your "dessert." Use low-fat sour cream to make dips for raw veggies. Low-fat cottage cheese can replace ricotta in Italian dishes like lasagna or manicotti.
Wednesday Layer yogurt and cereal in a cup like a "parfait." Add a dollop of low-fat sour cream to soups for a creamy topping. Enjoy sugar-free instant pudding made with skim milk. Instead of butter, use low-fat sour cream for baked or mashed potatoes.
Thursday Use low-fat yogurt or sour cream in place of butter on waffles or muffins. In salad dressings that call for mayo, use half low-fat sour cream and half low-fat mayo to cut fat and calories while keeping that creamy taste. Yogurt and fresh fruit. Add milk to your after-dinner coffee or have caf au lait, latte or cappuccino.
Friday Make a fruit smoothie with yogurt and/or milk. Use plain yogurt and spices instead of mayo for sandwich fillings like tuna or egg salad. Add fresh fruit to your cottage cheese Low-fat sour cream and skim milk can lighten alfredo sauces in Italian dishes.
Saturday Add skim milk to your scrambled eggs or omelets. Mix low-fat cottage cheese with salsa for a creamy/spicy topping or dip for Mexican lunches like tacos or burritos. Blend fruit and yogurt and freeze for a cool, healthy popsicle. Use low-fat yogurt instead of butter to make tangy sauces for vegetables.
