About Chief Mad Scientist "Kosmic" Kelly Ferreira

Ms. Ferreira brings a ton of excitement and enthusiasm to every Mad Science of Hawai'i performance. She has worked with youth as a "Big Sister" for the non-profit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters, and with her theater performing experience, she puts together an amazing show that keeps children captivated and inspired. The mission of Mad Science of Hawai'i is to spark students' curiosity and introduce fun and excitement to the subject of science. The organization works with the Hawai'i State Department of Education, YMCA, private and pre-schools, and after-school programs through a variety of workshops and programs. The Mad Science Group is a national franchise that aims to spark the imagination and curiosity of children through fun, hands-on and engaging science shows and activities.
